Pricing
We take pride in never surprising our clients with a bill. It is all too easy to agree to an hourly rate in the hundreds or thousands of dollars at the beginning of your case only for your attorney to spend dozens or hundreds of hours more on your case than you expected. To address this, we use flat or contingent fees in every case.
Below are our rates for every case type. There are two prices for each: A prelitigation price and a trial price. Your case will be charged at the trial rate if we empanel a jury or reach opening statements in a bench trial or contested arbitration. If your case settles before that stage, it will be charged at the prelitigation rate. Trial preparation is the most demanding and time-intensive part of a legal case, pulling resources away from other clients. This is especially true with complex felony or civil trials. As a result, we charge more when you make that call. We will always confirm this with you before the increased bill becomes necessary. You will be required to separately reimburse us for any costs incurred in pursuing your case, so we include you in decisions regarding those costs up front.

For cases which carry a potential life incarceration sentence, a fair and reasonable flat fee is not realistically available to pre-quote. Call our office for a special case evaluation and price quote.

Our typical rates reflect representation which begins at your intake meeting and concludes after your sentencing order has been entered. If you wish to appeal a decision that was made during your case, we will quote you a specific price for the type of appeal you are requesting.
